The Gooner Review 08-09
The Gooner Review is an 85-minute film made by Arsenal fans for Arsenal fans on the 2008 - 2009 season which was released on DVD in 2009.
The documentary features interviews with Nick Hornby, Bob Wilson, Perry Groves, Joe and Clive Swift, Peter Marinello, Tom Watt, Judge Jules and some of the thousands of fans who go and watch their club play every week.
The doc is the first community-based film made by Double D. Fans influenced the editorial of the film and helped to promote the doc through online polls, reviews of in progress material and by spreading the word through their own facebook and twitter accounts. Double D is currently using the same model for a number of projects in development including What about Me?
