About Double D

Double D was set up in 2008 after Susan Douglas, our producer, has decided to amalgamate all Film Productions into Double D Productions Ltd. So Double D now will handle Documentaries, Online Platforms and Feature Films.

Double D is a financing, production and online distribution company based in London which specialises in feature documentaries aimed at niche audiences.

Double D builds communities for its films during the development phase by involving interested parties in all aspects of the filmmaking process. We also use crowdfunding and online distribution strategies, as well as traditional routes via sales agents, distributors and broadcasters.

In addition, Double D provides digital marketing services for clients including management of social network sites, production of podcasts and virals, and digital distribution services through its digital label Channel D.
